FreeFalcon 3 New Features List:


FF3 Comprehensive Users Manual: The FF3 install comes with its own comprehensive manual for FF3. The manual covers a wide range of information and gives details about what is in store for the users of FF3. Users of FF3 will need to read through the manual and learn about the new features in FF3.


One click installer: The one-click installer is designed to alleviate the need for the user having to install multiple patches. Users simply install a fresh install of Falcon 4.0 from the CD and then install FF3. Installation typically takes 30-40 minutes.

 

3D Model upgrades: FF3 features some advanced 3D models that are beyond what has ever been seen in any Falcon 4.0 patch. These new 3D model upgrades include Antonio "Quake" Lumia's F-15E and F-15C models as well as numerous other model upgrades. Additional new structure models by the Air Base Group have been included. Texture upgrades: The amount of texture (skins) upgrades in FF3 is astounding. Many aircraft that have had model upgrades now also feature beautiful new skins. This includes new aircraft, old aircraft, air base textures, building textures, weapons, gas tanks and weapons racks. Check the Texture Upgrades section for more details.


New planes: FF3 has added numerous new aircraft to the user list. Planes like the French Rafale or Chinese J-10 headline the list. Check the New Planes for FF3 section for more details.


New weapons: FF3 has added new weapons to the data base, featuring many new weapons for non-US or Russian aircraft. Check the New Weapons for FF3 section for more details.


Data Base update: Includes comprehensive review, updates and documentation of all data edits in FF3. FF3 includes substantial edits to data like SAM missile systems, IR missile seeker capabilities, damage points of features and unit data that is linked to the ATO section. Additionally, literally hundreds of minor tweaks, bug fixes, data corrections and updates were made to the DB files. Check the Free Falcon 3 Data base edits section for more details.


Air Tasking Order: The Falcon 4.0 campaign mission generator (ATO) continues to evolve with FF3. This includes improvements in many different areas as well as comprehensive documentation. More details can be found in the Air Tasking Order edits for FF3 section.


Improved features and objectives: Updates include the revised objectives files from FF2.1 which has improved building layouts for army bases, depots, ports and radar sites. More information can be found in the Features control data sub-section in the data base edits section.


Improved parking spots: Updates include improved parking spaces for aircraft, SAM sites and AAA units. More information can be found in the Point header sub-section in the data base edits section.


Updated campaigns: All three Korean theater campaigns in FF3 have been upgraded to include new aircraft and air defense units. These were designed to take advantage of the ATO updates in FF3. Additional Theatre-Campaigns: FF3 is featuring 2 additional campaigns for the Korean theatre. Korea 2005 is an upgrade of Tom "Saint" Launder's Korea 2005 campaign which features several of the new aircraft in FF3. EuroWar is a remake of the FF3 Iron Fortress campaign that includes all European aircraft for the blue side including; Rafale, EF-2000, Mirage 2000 and several F-16 variants.
