    FreeFalcon Fans,

    As Aragorn posted earlier, elsewhere, FreeFalcon is indeed under new management. Recent events have been a boon for the Falcon enthusiast with nice things being released at BMS and at FreeFalcon. The future is indeed a very bright one for the user. Upon assumption of leadership of FreeFalcon I initiated an internal project among our developers to define the mission of FreeFalcon and a vision for the future. I would like to share the product of that effort now with all you.

    FreeFalcon's mission is to push the limits of Falcon in all areas of potential development, thereby ensuring that our simulator will - despite hardware, operating systems, and graphic cards/drivers - remain viable for many years to come.

    Here is the FreeFalcon 5.5.5. Upgrade.

    The install:

    A fresh install of FreeFalcon5.5 is required. Do not choose to install Hi Tiles when installing FF5.5.

    Do not apply any patches, or make any changes to your config editor or apply the cockpits until after

    you have installed and finished this upgrade. This must be a clean install. If you do not have the

    version FF5.5, this installer will not work.

    Install procedure:

    The FreeFalcon Team is proud to announce the release of our latest version, FF5.5. This version unites all of our work of the past 14 months and will complete the FreeFalcon 5 series.

    Some of the highlights contained in this version are;
    a secure installer, freeware high tiles included, elevated terrain for the Korean Theaters, an integrated Season Switcher, new UI and music, full documentation with dynamic links, a separate Cockpit Installer and 3 fully functioning Theaters with 9 dynamic Campaigns.

    Have you found the 'advanced' page in the setup/controller menu? Probably the throttle is assigned to the range rotary (it usually is after a fresh install).

    Your throttle should be recognized as soon as you select your joystick in the controller
